Located near Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Roosevelt National Forest contains thousands of pristine campsites dispersed throughout its 813,000 areas. We match your specific needs and group size with a pristine campsite that we’ve discovered over years of camping. We secure the site and set up your base camp well before your arrival.

Food Options:

1. Meal Plan: “I love to cook and aim to prepare the type of dishes that you like. Sample breakfas with steel cut oats, quiche, or bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and toast for breakfast. Light lunches include sandwiches and trail snacks Dinner may include chicken pot pie or beef stroganof in a dutch oven or steak on the 28 inch Blackstone Grill.” Larry King

2. Cook-it-up in your Kitchen Gazebo with double sink, hot/cold running water, ice chest, cooking tables with utensils and two propane camp stoves.

3. Local restaurants include the local favorite Potbelly Restaurant (Thursday-Sunday) in Red Feather Lakes 15 minutes away. Also on weekends, the Ranch House Restaurant & Pub located in Beaver Meadows Resort. Excellent horseback riding available here. The Red Feather Trading Post is the local grocery store which has the only coffee bar in town for a morning expresso and their infamous cinnamon buns. Excellent sub-way sandwiches and soups for light lunch.

4. Nightly campfire for hot dogs and s'mores. Micro popcorn for late-night movies in front of the wood heat stove.
